This information is to help ease the transition of moving into a new community. Mesa View is in unincorporated Jefferson County and is supported by the County services.

Should you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to call your Community Manager. Mesa View Estates is also known as 6th Avenue West Estates Master Association.

What is a Covenant Protected Community?

A community association is a group of owners whose primary mission is to protect and enhance their homes and property. Membership is mandatory and automatic for all owners.

The association is governed by a set of documents which include:

The recorded Plat, Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, State and Federal Statutes.

A community association combines the characteristics and activities of a local government, a business, and a community. Currently your Association is managed by a Board of Directors which consists of seven homeowners within your community.

Overall, what does the HOA do?

The HOA provides maintenance and management of Association common areas, promotion of community events and activities, governance for the Mesa View Community, as well as protection of the architectural integrity by enforcement of the governing documents.

Who is the Community Manager?

When is the trash picked up?

Currently trash is picked up on Mondays, unless there is a holiday on the day of pickup, in which case, trash pick-up will be delayed one day. Trash collection is paid by the Association, who have contracted with Republic Services. Trash should be left in containers and put on the curb before 7:00am on the day of pickup. Trash containers must be brought into your garage or home the evening after it is picked up. Recycling is picked up every other Monday. You should have been left a trash bin and recycle bin for your use. If you need additional containers, please give us a call. Finally, it can get windy on the mountain, so please weigh down your cans or bags.

Estates Park at Mesa View

There is a park located on West Ellsworth Drive, towards the West end of the Estates. There are two playgrounds for the children, two tennis courts, and a nice walking path. The park is currently managed by the Homeowners Association. The pavilion can be used please contact ACM to make a reservation.

The Open Space at Mesa View

There are hundreds of acres of open space adjacent to the Estates. Access points are available along West Archer Avenue and South Indiana Street. Please stay on the trails that are visible. Please watch out for the animals which include deer, coyotes, foxes, rattle snakes and mountain lions.
